I was fortunate enough, for a few years, to be a drummer in a band where Pamela was the vocalist.

Pamela has a passionate and powerful voice. I have yet to hear anyone else sing Ella Fitzgerald's 'At Last' with as much heartfelt soul and richness.

Regardless the musical genre, melody, timing or lyrical complexity, Pamela consistently delivered! Not only did our audiences sit up and take notice or hit the dance floor, but they found her vocals perfectly connected to the beat...validating my efforts as a percussionist. I know the other band members felt the same, as we looked forward to our practices as much as our gigs with Pamela as our lead singer.

And lastly, Pamela excels in her stage presence and connections with audiences. We, our band, hosted a weekly music jam at a local pub a number of years ago. Pamela was remarkable in her overall approach to the venue and other musicians. She has a confident relaxed manner, and was inclusive and supportive of everyone, regardless their backgrounds or strengths.

I have known Pamela for so long that I can’t say because then you would know how old we are.
I think I first met her when we were both hosting Karaoke in Calgary’s NW. She would visit my shows and I would visit hers. She was always an audience favourite, and her voice was amongst the best, and
as a karaoke host I have heard many!
We were in a band together for quite a while and our practices were almost as much fun as our gigs.
Pamela was always well prepared and gave 100% of hear heart and energy both at practices and at performances. She has a vocal range and song selection that most cannot equal, whether it be a smoky and soulful rendition of Etta James “At Last” or a rocking version of Tina Turners “Proud Mary” she
wowed not only the audience but also her band mates with her presence and performance.
I have performed with Pamela as part of a full band and as a duo and the results were the same.
Whether it be a rocking bar or a senior’s residence she always left people with smiles on their faces.
